Princess Eugenie arrived at a wedding attended by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, days after her revealing interview about the difficulties of being a member of the royal family.
The 28-year-old was hand-in-hand with her fiancé Jack Brooksbank ahead of Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks’s wedding at St Mary the Virgin Church in Frensham, Surrey.
Van Straubenzee is said to be one of Prince Harry‘s best friends after the pair attended Ludgrove Prep School in Berkshire, and the royal was reportedly given the honour of being his best man.

Eugenie was also on the guest list today and turned up to the special day wearing a light blue dress with a white blazer, topped off by a pair of sunglasses and floral clutch.
Brooksbank turned up to the church in a morning suit, accompanied with a waistcoat and light blue tie to match his wife-to-be.
Princess Eugenie’s appearance at the wedding is one of her first in public since she gave a joint interview with Princess Beatrice, where she said it was hard being a working woman in an ‘Instagram’ world – where everything seems perfect.
The Queen’s granddaughters insisted that despite their family’s status, they were ‘real’.

The appearance at the wedding was one of the first in public since she gave an interview to Vogue about how life in the royal family is difficult
In conversation with Vogue magazine, Princess Beatrice, 29, said: ‘It’s hard to navigate situations like these because there is no precedent, there is no protocol. Pictured: Outside the church in Frensham today

‘We are the first: we are young women trying to build careers and have personal lives, and we’re also princesses, and doing all of this in the public eye.’
Princess Eugenie, 28, agreed and added: ‘We want to show people who we are as working, young, royal women, but also not to be afraid of putting ourselves out there.’
‘Nowadays it’s so easy to recoil when you see a perfect image on Instagram – but it’s important that it’s real. We’re real.’
