Fashion icon Vivienne Westwood has apologised to a design duo after using their creations without permission at a Paris show.
And to make amends to James Theseus Buck and Luke Brooks, Dame Vivienne has followed their unusual demand – and paid for a bench in their local village square.
The seat now takes pride of place in Rottingdean, near Brighton.
Mr Brooks said: ‘We were quite taken aback that everyone was really up for it.’
Dame Vivienne told the pair: ‘We got caught up in a last-minute frenzy and did not contact you. We’re truly sorry.’
